Press releases for EU-funded projects in Romania

Which project announcements we publish, what the funder's visibility obligations require and how they combine with the advertising label.

Almost every grant agreement requires visibility: people should know the project exists, which programme funds it and what it aims at. The requirement is clear in the contract and vague in practice — it does not say where exactly, yet the proof still has to go into the reporting file. This page explains what we publish for funded projects in Romania and how the material looks so it also works for reporting.

Which announcements we publish

  • The project launch, with programme, value and objectives
  • Implementation progress and interim results
  • Project events open to the public
  • Project closure and final results

What publication does not cover

We do not replace the plaque, the billboard or any physical element required by the contract. We do not publish a call's applicant guide or eligibility lists — those are documents of the managing authority, and reproducing them on a private publication confuses more than it helps.

Two labels that do not replace each other

An announcement for a funded project carries two sets of obligations that coexist. The first comes from the grant agreement: the programme's visual identity elements and the mentions required there. The second comes from Romanian Law 363/2007: the material is paid, so it is labelled as such. Neither replaces the other, and their order on the page does not matter.

Who appears as the sender

The beneficiary of the grant, not the consultant who writes the text. This matters for reporting: the proof of publication has to show the organisation named in the contract. The consultant can order the publication from their own account — the client is a label on the campaign, not a separate account — but the beneficiary is who appears in the material.

What you send

The announcement text, the visual elements required by the programme, the project data — code, programme, value, period — and a contact person. The more complete the material, the fewer rounds of questions, and the turnaround in the catalogue stays as promised.

What it costs

50 lei excluding VAT (roughly €10) per publication. For projects with several announcements over the implementation period, subscriptions bring the effective price down to 27 lei, and credits do not expire — so they can be bought at the start and used over the whole project. The invoice is issued to the beneficiary, so it fits the eligible expenses. See the pricing page for packages.

Frequently asked questions

Does publishing with you replace the plaque or the billboard?

No. The physical elements required by the grant agreement remain mandatory. Online publication is an additional proof of visibility, not a substitute.

Do I receive proof for the reporting file?

Yes: the article's address, verified after publication as a logged-out visitor, plus the exportable history with date and publication. It is the link that actually resolves, not a confirmation from our system.

Who appears as the sender: the consultant or the beneficiary?

The grant beneficiary. The consultant can order the publication, but the material has to show the organisation named in the grant agreement, otherwise the proof is useless for reporting.

Does the advertising label spoil the reporting?

No. They are two different requirements and both apply. Material carrying both the programme's visual identity and the advertising label is correct from both directions.

Can I send the same text as an SEO article?

You can, but they are different formats. A project announcement is short and factual; an SEO article is built around a searched question and needs a different structure. Published identically at several addresses, the two would compete with each other.
