If you found our name in your server logs, this page says who we are, which addresses we come from and what we request. Including what to block us with, if that is what you want.
The user agent
Every request we make to an outside server carries the header below. We do not change it from one request to the next, and we do not pretend to be someone else when we come to you.

- We publish our clients' articles
- When a site is a partner, we publish through its WordPress API, using credentials the site itself gave us. Authenticated requests, few of them, and only to sites that agreed.
- We check that published articles are still there
- One request per article, rarely. A client paid for a publication and is entitled to know whether it still exists.
- We fetch the images of an imported article
- When someone imports an article published elsewhere, we fetch its images once, so the article does not depend on a server we do not control. A handful of requests, one time.
What we do not do
- We do not bypass authentication and do not try addresses we have no access to.
- We do not repeat a refused request to get past the refusal. A 403 stays a 403.
- We do not download whole sites and do not keep a crawler running on anyone.
- We do not pose as a search engine and do not use anyone else's name.
If you want to block us
That is your right and we do not take it personally. The rule below, placed in robots.txt, stops us; we honour it. If you prefer to do it at the server level, block the header or the addresses above.
