Guest posts on Romanian websites

What a guest post published here means, how it differs from the "free" one sent by email, what it costs and why the links are marked.

A guest post, in its original form, is an article written by you and published on someone else's site, for free, because it serves them too. In Romanian practice it almost always means a paid article with a link to your site. Here it is the second version, called by its name: you pick the publication from the catalogue, see the price and turnaround, send the article, and it appears under the label and link policy that publication declared in the catalogue.

Free or paid guest post

A free guest post takes dozens of emails to newsrooms, a few of which reply, usually with a rate. That time costs more than 45 lei. A paid guest post through the catalogue costs exactly what is written next to the publication, goes live within the written turnaround and gives you the verified address at the end. The difference is not quality but predictability: you know in advance where it appears, when, and with which label.

What you get

  • Your article, published on the chosen publication, with its own indexable address and an identified author.
  • The links to your pages, under the link policy the publication declared in the catalogue.
  • The paid-material label, in the form the publication declared in the catalogue.
  • The address verified after publication, the exportable history and, for publications connected to Search Console, the article's impressions and clicks.

Because a paid guest post is sponsored content, and Google requires links in sponsored content to be marked. An unmarked paid link is link spam under the engine's rules and is paid for over time, with the rankings you had. What you gain from a correct guest post: an article indexed on a publication with a history, visitors coming from it, brand mentions in a relevant context. We explain at length in link building through articles.

On which sites

Over a hundred Romanian publications, in seventeen niches. For a guest post the niche matters more than authority: an article about personal finance on a finance publication is read by the people who look for it and sends visitors who matter; the same article on a general site with higher authority is read by nobody. See the niches and publications.

How to write a guest post that passes

Like an article for the publication's readers, not for your link. Answer a question they have, with data and examples; place the link where it genuinely helps, one to three, with an anchor that says where it leads. Publications refuse texts that exist only to carry a link, and rightly so: nobody reads them. If you do not have the text, you can order copywriting and a person writes it.

What it costs

45 lei excluding VAT (roughly €10) on any publication in our network; other owners' publications carry their own price, in the catalogue. With a subscription the effective price drops to 31 lei. The first publication is free. All the figures are on the pricing page.

Create your account in two minutes and your first publication is free — no card, no sales call.

Frequently asked questions

Are a guest post and a sponsored article the same thing?

When paid, yes: an article of yours, published on someone else's site, labelled as sponsored material. The name differs by who sells it; the obligations are the same. See also sponsored articles.

Can I choose the anchor text?

Yes, within reason: the anchor has to say where the link leads. The publication may ask to change an anchor that misleads the reader.

Are the links dofollow?

It depends on the publication: its link policy is written in the catalogue, next to the price. Google requires the sponsored-content attribute on any paid link, and the risk of ignoring that is carried by you, the buyer.

How long does the article stay published?

Permanently, as long as the publication exists. There is no expiry for material published through the platform.
